Executive Board Member
Aliaa Amin , graduated from Alexandria University with Bachelor of Art majoring in History in 1994. Aliaa started her giving and volunteering efforts shortly after moving with her family to the United States. Mrs. Amin volunteered as a teacher assistant in the HEAD START program and Pre-k- Preschool – Kinder-garden to help raise and educate low income children. Mrs. Amin refused to be hired or get compensated for her time or effort for the years spent in the program in her efforts to be able to serve in multiple ways in the community. Mrs. Amin also worked as the coordinator for Kings’ bay Y adult day care center helping elderly.
In 2005 and with personal effort and resources, Mrs. Aliaa started charity work in Egypt providing for elderly, infants, orphans, homeless and slums. Shortly after Mrs. Amin started serving a bigger crowd in which there was the need to collect money and food to be distributed in Ramadan. Later on, clothes, covers and money were provided to slums and other poor areas in upper egypt , all year long. Mrs. Amin played a vital role along with the rest of the team to send 3 containers to slums and upper Egypt.
Mrs. Aliaa started New Egypt Group with her husband Mr.Maged amin in an effort to connect our two beloved countries. Mrs. Amin encouraged Egyptian tourism through many events and was able to be part of organizing Event to raise awareness of Belady Certificate.
Mrs. Amin currently serves as an Executive Board Member on the board of New Egypt as as well as the International Egyptian Women club board.
